Value is our measure of what you get for what you pay: episodes, writing and the token total, weighed together. This ranking takes the shorts with the highest Value score, puts the better-written ones first, and lets the cheaper total win when Story is tied. The result is a shopping list more than a heat chart, since spice ranges from Mild to Scorching.

How the value order works

First filter: Value score, highest first. Second: Story, because a cheap series you abandon after two episodes is not good value. Third: the lowest token total. All ten shorts here cost 12 tokens, so in practice the split happens on Story, with the four Story 4 titles ahead of the six at Story 3. Our methodology page explains how Value is scored.
