Premise and pace
A short holiday by the lake starts with banter between a man and his fiancée's mother. The tone shifts once they are nearly caught, and the second half plays more like a cover-up thriller than a romance. That change of gear is the best thing about it.
Next steps
Episodes 3 to 5 cost 36 tokens in total. If you liked the in-law angle, My Stepmom Mia Malkova Needs a Date and My Dad's Bride Wants Me First! are on the same Scorching list.
